The medical practice at Atholl Medical Centre is the sole medical practice in the Pitlochry district and covers an area of approximately 700 square miles of North West Perthshire. The practice has its main premises at Ferry Road, Pitlochry but also has a branch surgery at Ford Road, Blair Atholl. The nearest District General Hospital is Perth Royal Infirmary.
The doctors are responsible for providing community medical facilities, including the care of the patients in the Pitlochry Community Hospital, servicing the medical needs of our many visitors and working closely with the statutory emergency services. Other immunisations are carried out during normal consulting.
We offer a range of general and foreign travel immunisations by appointment with the doctor or the practice nurse.

After 31 years service in Pitlochry, Dr Leaver is due to retire at the end of September this year.

Whenever possible we hold an emergency clinic in the afternoons to deal with problems that require immediate medical attention and which cannot wait for a normal appointment on another day.
