Sessional doctors support our team. They are fully qualified GPs who work at the practice on a sessional basis to help us provide the best possible care for our patients. Our Nurse Practitioners are nurses who have undertaken additional training enabling them to diagnose, treat and prescribe medication. They undertake minor illness and chronic disease clinics by appointment only.

Nurse Practitioners undertake some duties that were traditionally completed by doctors. Practice nurses are available by appointment only. They undertake general treatment room duties including: dressings, stitch removal, cervical smears, contraceptive care, family planning and immunisations. They also manage clinics for the long term care of patients with conditions including diabetes, coronary heart disease, COPD and asthma.

Physicians Associates are available by appointment only. These clinicians are qualified medical professionals and compliment our multidisciplinary team. Physicians Associates are trained to undertake specific general treatment room duties such as managing clinics for the long term care of patients with conditions including diabetes, coronary heart disease, COPD and asthma.
Services
We operate across two sites, North Somercotes and Manby.
We aim to provide appointments in the surgery located at the individual patient's preferred location, however, you may be asked to travel to our alternative site if necessary.
We cover a large part of Coastal East Lincolnshire from Tetney, to South Thoresby and from Louth and its surrounding villages to the coast.
Our goal is to deliver high quality healthcare which is safe, effective, caring and responsive to the needs of our patients by following current best practice recommendations.
The community midwife undertakes antenatal care.
This is by appointment only.
To contact the community midwife, patients should ring "Call the Midwife" on 01472 875548 and leave their name and contact number so the midwife can return the call to book an appointment.
Six week mother and baby checks are performed by our doctors.
Please ask at reception for more information and to book an appointment.
We offer a full anticoagulation service for our patients to discuss your needs and to make an appointment for review.
The Practice offers a range of services that are not part of NHS provision.
A fee is charged for these services and these are in line with the current recommendations of the British Medical Association.
It is best to discuss your needs with our reception staff as they will be able to help you get the most from these services for example some forms may be left at reception for completion and collected at a later date.
Please remember that some requests will require an appointment with a GP outside of NHS surgery times and our team will organise this for you.
We have enhanced our older patients support programme to help avoid emergency hospital admissions and the need to attend A&E.
Our goal is to keep you healthy!
Our daily on-call doctor is available for urgent appointments and telephone consultations.
Our dedicated nursing support will provide regular reviews of your health needs, and if required, our team will devise a personal health plan with you.
Our nurses may contact you for a health review - there is no reason to be concerned as we are just working to keep you healthy.
The role of the carer can be physically and emotionally exhausting and can happen at any time in life.
Support can be anything from cooking, shopping and housework through to washing, lifting, feeding and giving medications.
Many people in need of care wish to remain in their own homes but their needs can have adverse effects on their carer who could be a relative/friend or neighbour.
Carers often feel guilty if they find their tasks difficult and feel obliged to continue without making time for themselves.
