It may take you a few minutes to read this but we hope this will help to explain what these changes are and how and why we are making them. We have a long-established history in the area and have developed close ties with our locality and its academic establishment, Bournemouth University. Our main surgeries are at 63 Kinson Road (Wallisdown) and 1368 Wimborne Road (Northbourne) and we also run the medical centre at Bournemouth University.
We offer high-quality family and personal medicine, caring for the needs of all our patients, working closely with the local hospital trust in Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch.

Services
There are lots of conditions where you will be able to get help easily without speaking to a clinician at the surgery.
Making an appointment to discuss minor illnesses, which are often self-limiting (i.e. they tend to get better on their own without a prescription), means that people who really need an appointment struggle to get through.
The following are common examples of things which we often find you don't need to speak to a clinician about unless your symptoms are particularly severe, they aren't settling or you feel really unwell.

This process should only take a few minutes and if you do this you should not have to complete any additional paperwork.
After 48 hours you should be able to book a New Patient Appointment.
If you wish to register via a paper form you can do this at reception but will need to provide 2 forms of ID (one of which must include your current address).
We do not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, social class, age, religion, sexual orientation or appearance, disability or medical condition.
