Even more people in Hampshire are now taking up this offer - simply ring your GP and ask for your health check. It costs nothing and is easy to arrange. The receptionist will explain more. Once you have had a NHS Health Check we would be grateful if you would complete this short survey. Our practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.

Services
GP practices in this area are making it easier for you to make appointments at times which suit you.
We are part of a new scheme that allows you to make appointments from 6.30pm-10pm on week days, from 8am to 4.30pm on Saturdays, and on Sunday mornings.
If you do need to see someone, we can offer you an appointment at your local 'hub' location.
You will be seen by a locally-based healthcare professional - the service is led by GPs but also includes other staff such as nurses, or healthcare assistants.

This will make it easier for everyone to know when their review is due.
It will also make our system more efficient and make better use of the appointments available.
This new system may mean that you will be invited either sooner or later than you would have expected based on when you had your last review, but this will settle down after the first year.
If you feel you would like to discuss your condition in the meantime, please do call us to book an appointment with a nurse or doctor.
We would like to invite the majority of patients by text message where possible.

The CQC also handles complaints from people (or their representatives) whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act.
Even though they cannot look into complaints about health care or social care services, they would like to hear from you if you were not happy about the care you received.
This is because they can use the information when looking at individual services to make sure that the practice is meeting important standards of quality and safety.
If not, they can use legal powers to make the practice improve their services for the benefit of people using the service now and in the future.
