Hello my name is Zena Spink and I would like to introduce myself as Towcester Medical Centre's Carers Champion - providing you with a point of contact for any queries you may have relating to your role as carer.
Many people do not see themselves as carers - they are simply someone's parent, child or friend.
If you look after someone, without payment, who is ill, frail, disabled, has mental health problems or misuses drugs or alcohol then YOU ARE A CARER.
Caring can be a 24/7 job that can be demanding and isolating.
