Online booking for appointments is currently suspended - you will only be able to book a telephone appointment and not face to face via online services until further notice. Our online booking system (Systm-Online) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Systm-Online enables you to book appointments and request repeat prescriptions and medication.
If you wish to use this service you will need to register. For security reasons we will need to see proof of identity in the form of either a passport or driving license and proof of residence in the form of a utility bill or bank statement (if you have any difficulties in providing these please speak to reception). Booking your next appointment over the internet is easy, and you can do it any time without waiting for surgery lines to open.
You can log-in and secure yourself an appointment within seconds. If you find it hard to get into the Surgery to order your next repeat prescription, Systm-Online could make your life easier, simply log-in and view a list of the medication you have been prescribed.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.
These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.
Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.

Having an ill child can be a very scary experience for parents.
If you understand more about the illness it can help you to feel more in control.
This booklet is for parents (and older children) and deals with common infections in children who are normally healthy.
There is a good guide on the NHS website which describes various conditions affecting children.
There is advice on how to diagnose them, how to treat them and if further advice should be consulted.
Most symptoms of a fever in young children can be managed at home with infant paracetamol.
