We have been looking at how we can improve access to your GP practice and improve the patient experience. In partnership with DoctorLink, we will be running a pilot which will give you access to a new service. We aim to provide our patients with the most suitable healthcare advice, to help you share your symptoms with your GP/nurse, and to avoid lengthy telephone wait times if you need to request an appointment.

Please remember all prescription requests need to be ordered direct with the surgery and not through 3rd party pharmacists (including online pharmacies).
Services
The practice has the right to remove online access to services for anyone that doesn't use them responsibly.
It is about having a sense of happiness and contentment in all aspects of our life, including physical and emotional health, community connectedness, social interactions, relationships, home life, work and financial security.
It is about getting out there, getting involved and taking control of your life - one step at a time.
First for Wellbeing is a way of looking at personal health that takes a holistic approach, i.e. looking at the whole person and not just particular parts or issues.
The practice employs a Health Care Assistant who assists the Nurses and will undertake some routine checks on their behalf.
If you are requested to provide a specimen, always remember to include your date of birth and name on the container.
This information is a minimum legal requirement and without this information your specimen will be discarded.
Specimens MUST be at the surgery by 12 noon.
The Practice Manager, Mr Samuel Adams, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice and supporting the other team members and doctors.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.
These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.
Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.
