Our Doctors and Nurses provide NHS clinics and services to almost 3000 registered patients. We also provide a range of private clinics and services available to registered patients and the general public. We are a teaching practice linked to Queen's University Belfast School of Medicine and the Physician Associate Studies Programme at the University of Ulster.
We are currently accepting new patients - so if you are looking for a GP and live within our practice boundary then you are free to register with the practice. For private services including appointments, medicals, Driver Medicals NI and Bangor Travel Clinic there is no need to register - call 028 91 455 000 to make an appointment.

Please note that the practice is closed from 18.00 each evening until 08.30 the following morning and closed on weekends, bank and public holidays.
If you need to contact a doctor in an emergency during the out-of-hours period please phone the North Down and Ards GP out-of-hours service (NDADOC) on 028 9182 2344.
NDADOC is based at Ards Community Hospital, Church Street, Newtownards, Co. Down, BT23 4AS.

The reason routine appointments are not available to book further in advance is that more people do not attend (DNA) when we allow booking further in advance and this deprives other patients of appointments.
Appointments to see the practice nurse or healthcare assistant are pre-bookable up to 4 weeks in advance.
Please remember that each consultation appointment is for one patient only and for ten minutes.
Our doctors would love to spend longer in consultations with each patient but unfortunately the level of demand for appointments and the number of people wanting to speak to and see our doctors daily means they need to see a patient every ten minutes to avoid long waits for appointments.
