Stony Medical Centre is a partnership of five doctors and one salaried doctor working from the Health Centre in Market Square, Stony Stratford, the first purpose built Health Centre in Milton Keynes, having opened in 1974. We believe that a group practice such as ours provides a choice of personal care from doctors with a wide range of medical interests.
Services
Please be aware that we do not register patients from the Fairfields or Whitehouse Park estates.
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days.
After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months.
This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP.

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is where like-minded practices come together to work together and provide some joined up services.
NHS organisations and local authorities in different parts of England have come together to develop 'place-based plans' for the future of health and care services in their area.
The Watling Street Network (WSN) is a Primary Care Network (PCN) of Practices within the current CCG area of Milton Keynes.
The purpose of the WSN is to design and commission services and health care pathways for the patients of our member practices where we find working together is better than working alone.
