Prescriptions will be ready for collection the same day if the request is received before 11am and those requested after 11am can be collected the next day. Patients can book and manage their appointments, access their medical records and manage their medication all online, safely and securely. To help protect patients & Staff we have changed our appointment system to Telephone Triage.

The Practice handles medical records online in compliance with laws on Data Protection and Confidentiality. Greet Medical Practice a GMS practice and it is situated in Greet Health Centre in the Heart of Birmingham and also has access to diagnostic treatments for patients i.e. Ultrasound Scan, Gynaecology, opthalmology etc. There is ample parking for patients and disabled access.

The premises are secured by CCTV. The practice has a list size of over 6,000 patients. There are currently 4 GP's and 1 full time trainee. Practice staff comprises of 1 Practice Manager, 1 Business Manager, 1 Practice Nurse, 2 Health Care Assistants, 3 Medical Secretaries and 4 Receptionists.
Services
Sally is state registered with specialist training relevant to general practice.
She provides the nursing care within the practice setting including dressings and suture removal, ear syringing, cervical cytology screening plus the routine immunization of children and adults.
She also runs the following clinics: asthma, diabetes, hypertension (blood pressure), well man/woman, new patient health checks, travel vaccinations, Obesity clinic and health checks for patients over the age of 75.
Mrs. Amarjit Kaur (HCA level 2) is an Important member of the practice team who works under the supervision of a qualified nurse.
This may include new and ongoing problems getting worse or not improving e.g: sprains, cuts, back pain, knee pain, skin conditions not improving; worsening asthma; headaches not improving.
GPs can arrange scans and other investigations if necessary.
Call the service on 0121 203 2220 in order to PREBOOK your face to face appointments on the same day.
The practice can book for appointments for the weekend if needed.
Out of Hours, 8pm-8am, 7 Days per week, please call 0121 766 6113 and you will directed to NHS 111 services.
Urgent appointments - Patients to ring the practice between 8.30am till 9.00am Monday to Friday.
If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP.
If you don't need an appointment within two working days, you also have the option to book a number of weeks in advance if this is more convenient for you.
Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions.
You can expect to see a nurse within one working day and all of them are qualified to prescribe from a range of medicines.
If you would like to make a complaint please speak to the Practice Manager in the first instance.
In the majority of cases, concerns can be resolved quite easily.
However, if you feel we have not dealt with the issues you have raised as you would wish, you can write to the Complaints Manager at NHS England Customer Contact Centre.
Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit.
For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible.
However, we can visit you at home if your condition means you cannot attend one of our practices.
Please ring before 10.30am to arrange a visit and let us know if your condition is urgent.
Our GPs do not carry out routine home visits.
Patients can receive a much more comprehensive and thorough assessment at the surgery.
