Welcome to DeMontfort Medical Centre, providing primary care for Evesham and surrounding areas. We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer. However Public Health England has deemed that the current rules will remain in place for NHS settings. All Patients, Staff and visitors will be required to wear a face covering, sanitize and social distance when visiting the surgery.

The current appointment system will remain the same. This is to protect both patients and staff. We all thank you for your co-operation and support. We have been informed by our vaccination supplier that our delivery of flu vaccines has been delayed. We are awaiting new delivery dates and we will contact you to re arrange your appointment. How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?
Services
Important changes to routine and non-urgent blood test appointments All GP practices are affected by the current national shortage of blood tubes and are taking urgent steps alongside our hospitals to prioritise their use for people with the greatest clinical need.
This includes testing for serious conditions such as cancer.
We are following national guidance which has been issued in response to the shortage.
As a result, we need to cancel and delay a number of patient appointments for blood tests deemed routine or non-urgent.
We have recently introduced a booking system to our Minor Injury Units (MIU).
Some patients in the waiting room may have a pre-booked appointment and be called in ahead of others.
Please be assured we will continue to see you as quickly as we can.
From Autumn 2020, patients requiring urgent treatment for minor injuries should contact NHS111 online via 111.nhs.com or by phoning 111.
NHS 111 will assess you and give you the option to speak to a nurse, doctor or paramedic if appropriate.
You'll then be advised where you need to go for treatment.
It is essential that an accurate travel history is obtained from all patients with acute respiratory infections, using any one of the following: cough or fever or shortness of breath to help identify potential cases.
Special care zones in South Korea as designated by the Government of the replublic of South Korea.
You do not need to self-isolate if you have no symptoms.
Those who have returned from previously identified geographic areas within the past 14 days and develop symptoms, however mild, should self-isolate at home immediately and call NHS111.
The practice has qualified doctors training to be GP's in surgery, these are known as GP Registrar's.
These doctors are in the surgery working directly with patients for part of their 3 year training program.
The doctors already have 2 years post qualification experience before moving on to specialise to become a GP.
During the second and third years of their training, the doctors will spend six months of their second year and all of their third year in General Practice.
We would appreciate your help with this teaching.
You can now book on the day for a telephone consultation with a General Practitioner (GP) or an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP).
Alternatively you can pre book a telephone consultation with a GP 24 hours before by using Patient Access.
The GP/ANP will telephone you to discuss your clinical concerns.
If the GP/ANP feels that he/she need to see you then you will be given a time slot to attend the surgery by the GP or ANP that you have spoken to.
You are to arrive three minutes before your appointment time and a face mask must be worn at all times whilst in the surgery.
