Services
Calls to NHS 111 are handled by a team of highly trained call advisors, supported by experienced doctors and nurses who use a database of all health care services available to people in Hull.
If you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest Accident and emergency department.
The Practice is keen to offer a wide range of services to our patients.
As a Practice we are dedicated to promoting good health and provide family-centered medical care.
We are grateful for the co-operation of our patients and hope that we can continue work with them to achieve good health for all.
If you are absent from work due to illness for less than 7 days you need to obtain a SC2 form from your employer or the DWP.
If after 7 days you are still unwell, you will need to see a doctor who may then issue a medical certificate.
All consultations are by appointment which can be made via telephone or in person during the practice opening times.
We aim to offer pre-bookable Doctors appointments up to 4 weeks in advance, on a rolling day basis.
We are able to offer 'on the day' appointments for those who have become ill and need more immediate attention, rather than those whose appointment is more routine or follow-up is less urgent.
You have the right to express a preference of practitioner that you see, although this may mean that you have to wait longer for an available appointment.
If you are on regular medication you can request a repeat prescription.
The doctor may allow you to have a number of repeat prescriptions without being seen although you will need to be reviewed by a doctor at least once a year.
Tick the items required on the right hand side of the order form from your last repeat prescription and return to the surgery in person.
There is a box in the Reception area where you can post your repeat prescription request or you can post it to us.
Currently during the pandemic you can post this through the letter box.
We have recently set up a text message reminder service.
If we have your mobile telephone number, you will receive confirmation of appointments and a reminder the day before.
If you have a mobile telephone and would like to receive this service, please let us know your mobile number.
If you do not wish to receive these reminders please let us know at Reception.
