For minor ailments you do not always need to see your GP, these could be treated at homes such as sore throats, cough or blocked nose.
The local Pharmacist can provide advise and over the counter medication for a number of ailments such as high temperature, diarrhoea, emergency contraception, cystitis etc.
Walk-In centres can offer advice on strains, sprains, cuts, infections that can't be treated at home.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
