In line with current Government guidance patients are required to continue to wear a face covering in all healthcare settings. If you have symptoms you must get a PCR test as soon as possible & before visiting your GP. Rapid lateral flow tests should not be used to confirm infection. Our thanks on behalf of all the Staff at the Practice for their commitment and consideration.

Unsure what healthcare you need if you or your loved one is ill or injured? Choose Well helps you find the best option for the appropriate service to meet your health needs. We're seeing an increase in severe respiratory illness in children as restrictions ease and people mix more, with cases higher than usual for this time of year and further increases expected over winter months.

Before you travel abroad, you need to check the entry rules for the country you want to go to. Our practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety. This widget provides a summary of the results of the latest checks carried out by the CQC.
Services
Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot for too long, there are health risks.
In England, there are on average 2000 heat related deaths every year.
If hot weather hits this summer, make sure it does not harm you or anyone you know.
A number of minor illnesses can be treatable through Self Care within the comfort of your own home.
Find the issue that you feel you are experiencing and press the button.
This will take you onto a Condition Specific page informing you on the dos and don'ts of your problem, and how to manage it effectively.
You should continue to use your skin products as directed by your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
However, it is also important that you are aware of the potential danger and know how to keep safe when using these products.
Do you use a skin cream, ointment, lotion, gel, spray, bath oil or soap substitute (sometimes called emollients)?
They are used to manage dry skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and icthyosis.
Emollients can transfer from your skin onto clothing, bedding and bandages.
In the presence of an ignition source, fabric with emollient dried on it can catch fire much more quickly and burn hotter than clean fabric.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will take before the results are returned to the practice.
To obtain your results, please telephone the surgery on 01922 775138/141.
Please be prepared to identify yourself, saying what the test was and when it was carried out.
We cannot always give full results over the phone.
If the result requires further discussion, we will offer you an appointment.
Due to our confidentiality and data protection policies, we will only give results to the person who has had the test.
If you are on regular, long term medication and the doctor decides that you can get another supply of your medication without being seen each time, they will tell you and designate your medication as a 'repeat'.
For most patients the normal supply is for 2 months (although this may vary with the type of medicine and at the doctor's discretion).
The LEFT side is the actual prescription which you give to the pharmacist to obtain your medication.
The RIGHT side is a list of drugs that can be issued as a repeat.
NHS talking therapies can help you if you're struggling to cope with feelings of anxiety or depression.
Rest assured it's totally confidential.
