Our telephone lines are open from 08:00 - 18:30, Monday to Friday.
An answer phone message will provide information on who to contact in the event of an emergency when the practice is closed.
Our enquiries line (used for medication queries, results, referral updates or any other business) will be open from 11:00 every weekday.
Test results will be available after 14:00 - this is to allow our doctors enough time to view and comment on them after their morning surgery.

Our current appointment system has been developed to reflect our patient's needs.
As a result of this, we now have early, late, advance book and book on the day appointments.
During holiday periods, study leave, etc. there may be a delay in routine appointments, but a doctor will always see urgent cases.
If you feel that you may need more than the usual time for a appointment (each appointment is 15 minutes long) then please mention this to the receptionist when booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
As a result of this, we now have early, late, advance book and book on the day appointments.

We offer home visits to patients who are unable to visit the surgery but still require a face-to-face consultation.
When possible, please try to telephone reception before 10:00 if you require a home visit.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice.
Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.
You may therefore recieve a telephone call from the GP before your visit so he/she can obtain more information.

If your doctor feels that your medication can be safely prescribed on a repeat basis, we will provide your nominated pharmacy with instructions to issue these for you.
Please return this with the required items clearly marked either by hand at the surgery or by post.
If you enclose a stamped addressed envelope we will post your prescription back to you.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept orders for repeat prescriptions over the telephone as per Department of Health guidelines.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
